Hi all, My laptop is hanging shortly after bootup. my mouse and keypad seems to be working after hang. Laptop is running on Vista 32-bit home edition. After going through posts, i did the following steps: 1) Boot in Safe mode and ran chkdsk c: \f \r in administer mode. 2) After reboot, i ran sfc /scannow in administer mode. My system Configuration is Laptop make: Sony Vaio VGN-NS140E Processor speed: 2.1GHz Ram: 3GB HDD: 320 GB. OS: vista 32-bit Home edition.
